Bio
Pedro Costa is a visiting Fellow from Brazilian Center for Research in Physics (CBPF). Pedro is a PhD student working in the Quantum Information Group @ CBPF and has Fernando de Melo as advisor. The focus of his research is to establish effective dynamics for quantum systems, including those described by quantum field theories. This is done by applying a coarse graining technique to quantum cellular automata. In addition, in the beginning of this year, Pedro started a project with Stephen Jordan, QuICS fellow, in which the main goal is to simulate classical waves in quantum logspace.
