Jeffrey Epstein was an NRC Postdoctoral Fellow in QuICS in 2021. Jeffrey received his PhD in physics from UC Berkeley in 2020, supervised by Kranthi Mandadapu. He is broadly interested in the application of quantum information to physical problems, and as a postdoctoral researcher focuses on quantum thermodynamics and low-energy quantum gravity. He worked primarily with Jacob Taylor and Nicole Yunger Halpern. Jeffrey is employed as a Quantum Applications Engineer at Atom Computing in Berkeley, California.
