Ian Teixeira
Graduate Student (2023-2025)
Alumni, Graduate Student

Bio
Ian was a QuICS graduate student from 2023 to 2025. He received his PhD in applied mathematics from the University of Maryland in 2025. He is interested in applications of representation theory to problems in quantum error correction and fault tolerance. He was advised by Michael Gullans. After QuICS, Ian moved on to an SEW Assistant Professor (postdoc) position in the Department of Mathematics at UC San Diego.
